Quick Update

The releases I was expecting to have out on Friday will be out tomorrow. Had a rather tough week of work, so yesterday and today were spent rather largely recuperating. The two releases that will be out tomorrow are Seven Sisters Ch4, and Sora no Manimani Ch23. They are both back-releases who had different levels of work done on them a couple months back, but didn't get to see the light of day.

Seven Sisters 4 was translated, but I was awaiting HQ scans on it, and after having to switch provider sources, Sasuke706 was nice enough to help provide us not only with HQ scans for SS4 but other series we are doing. The cleans for the chapter are complete, but I have a bit of stuff to do tonight as well as find time to eat dinner, so the redraws and typeset will have to wait until tomorrow.

Sora no Manimani 23 was also translated, and technically was cleaned, but the cleans needed to be redone and I never found someone to redo them, so this time around I'm doing it anyway. Though it will essentially be moot, as I'm going to be getting every volume of the series, scanning vol4-10, and releasing v2s of ch20-23 with the better scans.

I'll also be ordering volume 1 of Choi Hime, volume 1-2 of Tonari no Kashiwagi-san, volume 1-2 of Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, volumes 1-3 of Kitsune no Akuma to Kuroi Madousho, and volumes 3-4 of Amagoi so that we can continue each series. Once we finish the tanks of Kitsune no Akuma and Sakurasou, I'll be moving into magazine scanning, assuming that I am unable to find other raw providers for them.

Kurosagi, our translator for Hagure Yuusha no Estetica has reaffirmed for us that he will continue translating the series for us. I've already started the cleaning/redrawing for chapter 3, and will do so for chapters 4+ as well, so that they are ready for typeset once the TLs are done.

Also, I will be moving forward on picking up the series Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou. PROzess released chapter 1 of the series yesterday, but seems to have dropped it almost immediately because of /a/. It seems that /a/ is trying to recruit people to do the series as well, so while I will be moving forward on picking the series up, if /a/ or other group(s) does pick it up and does a decent job on it, I'll probably end up backing off. Though I do rather want to do it, considering it's the Haruwaka artist combined with Lynn Okamoto, and the main heroine is a CHF. \o/

  1. Heyo matey!

    Cresent here.

Are you still taking SHR or what?
Because i do not see the point of YOU taking projects back which are currently super active.
You're just contradicting your own group by saying you're taking them back.

EVEN THOUGH you said, this group is for DROPPED manga.

    Please explain that.

Waiting for your reply on irc.

Ya know, dat /ms send Cresent <- awnser?

  3. Hey,

I really appreciate your eagerness to do so many series.

But you once said, you were happy to see project you are doing here beeing picked up by other groups. So why don't you let them continue these series so that you can concentrate more intensely on fewer series.
Otherwise it would be wasted manpower. Also nobody wants to see such a childish arguement again where nobody can win.

    1. I was happy, and I still am that the few (and conveniently, only the popular ones) were taken up by some other groups. I have different reasons depending on the series, but it largely boils down for me that as both a scanlator and a reader, I don't like seeing these series not getting the work on them done that they deserve and need.

    2. >Implying you could actually do a better job than the currently done by other groups.

Also, your backlog is bigger than the tokyo tower, yet you keep picking up "dropped" stuff. Your group is going to turn into one of all these other groups you complained about: Taking forever to actually release something.

Well, I dun care. I just retired. Troll the folks in my stead.
      Over and out.
