In Bura! Chapter 13

The penultimate (next to last) chapter of In Bura! Demo went on a translating spree and did the final 4 chapters of In Bura all in one day (I did not expect that at all, he's awesome), so all that was really left was the editing. The final chapter is clean now, so all that's left is the redraws and typeset. Once the redraws are done, it'll get TSed asap.

One of these days we'll get around to the v2s for chapters 6 and 7...

Enjoy the release!

I will be off from my job from the 23rd to the 2nd, so I'll be trying to get as many releases as we can out during those 10 days. Hentai Ouji 19 redraws are complete, so that will be coming once TSed. The B/W redraws for 20 are also complete, but still have the color redraws left for 20.

  3. Noooooooooooooooo! WTF is with this rushed end?!?!?!?! In bura can't end so soon! Does somebody know the reason?

    Thx for the chapter anyway.

  4. Why the end? Dunno. I've been prowling through his Twitter feed and haven't found anything so far except comments about what games he's playing. The note on the last page of the last chapter says to look forward to his next series (Is that a standard end-of-series statement?).

You'd think they'd just up the fanservice and move it to Champion Red Ichigo (In Bura Darkness, maybe?)...

  5. My question is, how could this end so soon? There's been hardly any development, just "seeds being planted." I mean character wise you've got the daughters of 3 (prominent? I'm too lazy to double check) vampire families (the innocent Ian, the boastful Ran, and the jealous Miyabi), at least one familair (Pochi), a vampire princess (Vanilla), the childhood friend (Misa), as well as the petite vampire slayer wanna be (Anita). They may cliche, stereotypical and mainstream but just because something has been done before doesn't mean people won't like another version. And let's not forget Kouichi and his special blood. Why is it addictive? Why does it boost vampire powers? These are just some of the questions that have yet to be answered. I'm not gonna lie, I like the fan-service (huge fan of To Love Ru and the Rito falls), but even if without it the story itself is pretty decent in my opinion. I for one hope that this being the end is either a joke or at least will lead to something else like To Love Ru Darkness.

  6. From what I can tell it was dropped by the magazine that hosted it. Personally, I'm going to miss it since this manga was right in my strike zone. Having the childhood friend of the main character and sweet girl Ian/Lan/Ran (don't name your character similarly unless they're twins, manga authors!) see his "little man" and NOT go all "Eww! Gross! Pervert!" was quite refreshing (and in Misa's case, her "why HELLOOOOO there~!" look won me over completely).
I agree with the previous anon, this series had potential and I seriously DO hope the last chapter is just a setup for another series with a different magazine and also that it doesn't just end with a "...and then they were all killed by a truck. The End."
