Complete Projects Update

I've seen more than my fair share of questions about series of ours, so I'm going to address every series here. Everything after the jump.

Many series have had their status changed to On Hold due to varying reasons. The main reason though, is that we are trying to focus on a certain amount of projects right now to catch up and/or finish them, so that we can get to our other series.

Ongoing Projects
Billionaire Girl - Chapter 7 is translated and half clean. I plan on finishing the cleans for it this weekend and sending it off to my TSers to get it TSed. After that, the release depends largely on when I am able to get ahold of Kanapox again.

Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge - Chapters 24-27 have all been typeset, and just need my QC for release. I'll likely release one or two of these chapters this upcoming weekend, but I don't recall their chapter lengths, so how many get released depend on that. If they're relatively short, might see all of them released. Up to 33 or so has been translated, and 28 is clean.

Harvest December - This is a series that is somewhat on hold, although the cleaning on chapters 6 and 7, which are translated, has started. One of these upcoming weekends I'll most likely finish cleaning chapter 6 and send that off for TS so that we can get the ball rolling on finishing up the series. Although roankun is on vacation right now, so I may have to ask Demo to fill in on chapter(s) until/if roan comes back.

Hatoko-san to Rabukome - As stated previously, Hatoko-san's manga adaptation ended at chapter 5. The original plan was to release all 4 chapters relatively quickly, but we've decided to instead purchase the volume that comes out on the 20th, to release the chapters in HQ. We'll likely re-release chapters 0 and 1 as well, so that we can just have the whole thing out there in HQ. The main reason for this is not only because it means HQ releases, but the web raws downsized from 1.2k px to 1,024px starting with chapter 2, and that makes translating harder.

Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko. - I sent the redraws of chapter 22 to Josh just the other day, and they are already complete. The chapter itself is really short, so that will be released this weekend. Past that, 23 hasn't been translated yet. Still need to send downsized raws to BJ-Bu.

Highschool of the Dead - I, like many readers, am quite annoyed that this chapter has not found its way out yet. I do wonder though if we should be the ones to release it, though. I quite love the series, and want nothing more than to work on it, but part of me thinks we wouldn't do the series justice. We'll most likely still be releasing it, but I don't see myself ever being satisfied with the quality of it.

Itoshi no Karin - All of Karin's current chapters have now been translated. Cleaning started weeks ago, but will likely not be completed for a few weeks. The series has more than its fair share of redraws, so priority goes to sending off pages that need redraws to someone first, then finishing the cleaning. The plan is to release every available chapter of this series at once, that way we're caught up from the get-go.

Kigurumi - Demo will be translating chapters 2+ of this soon. Also, it appears that this may be yet another short-lived manga, as it seems the manga may be ending at chapter 5 in another magazine in September, as Miracle Jump is currently on hiatus until next year, as it's transitioning to a monthly magazine.

Mayo Chiki! - Chapter 28's redraws have been sent off to Josh as well. After that, chapter 29 is translated, although editing hasn't started on that chapter yet. 28 should see a release soon, barring the redraws taking too long.

Mondajitachi ga Isekai kara Kuru soudesuyo? - Both chapters 1 and 2 have been typeset, although all of its redraws remain. I'm gonna end up sending them off to someone else as well, as I don't have the time to finish them. Once those are completed, this will finally see the light of day. After that though, we don't have a translator for the series. Eru13 only did the first two chapters.

No Game No Life - Scanlation is caught up on this series. Chapter 5 should come out in Japan this month or the next, I don't know for sure.

Nozomi x Kimio - Chapter 11 is being typeset. It is the latest chapter, and should be released before 12 comes out later this month.

Nyotai-ka - Chapter 38 is mostly clean now, just need to find someone to throw the chapter at to translate so we can really start on finishing the manga out.

Ore to Ichino no Game Doukoukai Katsudou Nisshi - Demo will be filling in part time on this series until/if roankun comes back. The series loves to have redraws though, so when we'll see more chapters at the moment is currently uncertain.

Puppy Lovers - The remainder of volume 2 (like 19 more chapters or something) is all currently being translated and cleaned. Chapters 17 and 18 are clean, so they just need to be TSed and they can be thrown out.

Seishun Pop! - I have absolutely no idea.

Seven Sisters! - Chapter 6's redraws have been sent off to Josh. Past the release of chapter 6, we don't really have much. No translator, and editing hasn't really been started on chapters 7+. I imagine I might be able to toss a chapter at Demo to do, given that they're all really short and easy to translate, but I'm trying to keep as much off of him as possible. So if that happens, it will probably be a while.

Sexual Hunter Riot - Chapters 11 and 12 have been translated by Demo. Someone was supposed to be cleaning them, but I'm not quite sure on the status of that. This is a series we're relatively close to being caught up on its scanlation on, so I'm trying to push it out as much as I can.

Sora no Otoshimono - Chapter 72's cleaning is all done. It has some redraws left, and then my TS. It will most likely be released this weekend.

Sorairo Square. - Chapter 9 just needs a QC for release. Chapter 10 is being cleaned. After that, we will be likely looking into purchasing the tanks ourselves, so we don't have to drop the series.

Sore ga Kanojo no Seigi nara - I'm planning on trying to get chapter 19 out this weekend. Both chapter 19 and 20 are typeset, but I still have to do the redraws and a lot of masking before 19 can be released.

Soutaisei Moteron - I've got someone who'll be cleaning chapters 4 and 5, and likely typeset them as well, which should start this weekend, so hopefully we'll be able to get these out there soon. After that, nothing else has been translated. Last I knew, Eru13 was still gone, so I don't know when we'll see more of the series translated.

Strike the Blood - As the anime has been confirmed for the Fall season, jagman is trying to push and get the scanlation caught up as soon as possible. I'd like for that to happen as well, and ER seems to sorta feel like that, so pending some major procrastination or something by ER for whatever reason, we should be able to catch up by the time the anime airs. Although it shouldn't take long for the anime to surpass the manga.

Tonari no Kashiwagi-san - Scanlation is currently caught up on the series. Chapter 42 will be released with 47 later this month/next month. If on the low chance there is no Kashiwagi in the next issue, I'll just release it the moment I know that, as it's already complete.

Yumekui Merry - DKThias was gone for a while on vacation, and when he came back yesterday or the day before, his original raw provider hadn't scanned chapter 62 yet, so we had to get ER to scan it. I don't know much else about the progress, but as Yumekui is Thias' baby, I imagine it won't be long until it's released.

Yumekuri - The redraws for every chapter have been sent off, and I'm hoping to get them back soon, so we can just rush through catching up on the series.

Yuusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shuushoku o Ketsuishimashita - I'm going to have Demo step in and do the chapter roan was going to (chapter 1), although I'm contemplating holding off on working on the series' web raws, as the series is being put in an actual magazine (Dragon Age) sometime soon, and I'd much rather use HQ magazine scans over tiny web raws. Although that means either purchasing the magazine myself, or looking for someone who'd be willing to provide me with those raws.

Planned Projects
Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko. Nya! - As far as I know the translating started on this, but hasn't been completed. I started cleaning it a while back, and all of the chapters are like 1/5th cleaned. It's not a very heavy redraw series, unlike it's main counterpart, so it shouldn't take us long to get it out once it's all translated.

Kitsune no Yomeiri - This is likely a series we will not start until my offseason, as I've been told by more than one person that it's a very wordy series, and not something easily translated. So, whenever we do start this, I don't want to have 40+ series going on, and not being able to buckle down on it. I've had more than a few offers to purchase and/or give me volumes of the series, which is quite awesome, but we don't really have the resources to commit to doing the series right now.

Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to 2 - Chapter 1 (or 0, I dunno) will be released in Japan on August 2nd. The raw situation is currently unknown. There may be a chance we can get HQ raws, but that's not for certain yet. I'm told public raws for the magazine are usable, so if we're not able to get HQ raws, we'll just use those.

Sayabito - Sword of Destiny - Like Kitsune no Yomeiri before, this is a series that will take a lot of resources to complete. Not only the series in its entirety, but every single chapter by themselves. Every chapter is around 60 pages long, and the series is Seinen, lacking any Furigana. So not only will translating take time, but cleaning, redrawing, and typesetting will as well.

Zetsurin! - Volume 2 of this came out recently, which we we've purchased (I think). We'll start on volume 1 most likely early on into my offseason that starts late October, as its a series I have really been looking forward to doing.

On Hold Projects
Amagoi - Still on hold until we're able to get our hands on scans for the final volume.

Choi Hime - Like Amagoi, on hold until we get scans for the final volume. Though even if that is anytime soon, roankun was the one who was going to finish it out, so I don't really know right now.

H2O - Footprints in the Sand - This is an on hold series right now. While chapter 6 is translated, and 7 is mostly translated, the editing has not started on any of the chapters at all. Past that, roankun dropped it, which is why 7 is only mostly translated. Chances are it won't see another release for a while.

Hagure Yuusha no Kichiku Bigaku - On hold as well due to lack of translator.

Houkago Wind Orchestra - Like other series roan was doing for us, this is on hold as well.

Hyouka - Vistrans randomly pulled out on me altogether a while, which left us without a translator for this series at all. Also we lack any scans period for chapters 5 through like 12 or 13. While getting a translator even on a temporary basis shouldn't be too much issue, we need to get volumes 2 and 3 (maybe 4 as well) otherwise we can't do anything on it.

Juukinzoku Kanojo - Chapter 9 is translated, the first of volume 2, and we've still got the two Bonus Tracks at the end of volume 1 left. The series is currently on hold, as with many others that have had their status changed to that.

MM! - On hold as well due to roan's vacation.

Mushi to Medama to Teddy Bear - Same reason as above.

Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - Lack of translator here. I may have Demo finish this out during my offseason as it's only 6 more chapters until the end, but if I do it'd be midway through or close to the end (like Dec or Jan).

Oniichan dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne - Series is on hold currently. We have no translator for the series, and the color redraws in some upcoming chapters aren't completed yet.

Princess wa Mimodaeru - On hold.

Reideen - On hold.

Saijou no Meii - On hold until we can get usable scans for volumes 5+. Also roan was translating this, so yeah.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - Currently on hold. Chapter 6 needs to be TLCed. Chapter 8 is translated, although 7 is not. Also we plan on purchasing the volumes for better scans and easier translating.

Sora no Manimani - On hold until we get better scans for volume 4+ and a translator.

Other
In Bura! - The guy who originally provided some LQ raws of the volume 1 Omake never got back to me about rescanning them in HQ, so not quite sure what's going on with that. Demo has volume 2, and will scan the omake in it when he gets back stateside this upcoming week.

Kanojo no Kagi wo Akeru Houhou - This is a series we will most definitely be picking up once we are able to. The art in the beginning of the series is so-so, but it gets much, much better later on. It's almost on the level of Kimi wa Midara fanservice-wise. It doesn't have the millions of redraws, plus the series is still going strong at 5 volumes and 40 something chapters currently available.

Saito-kun wa Esper Rashii - While I'm definitely glad that the series finally got picked back up (by Muda Scantrad), I'm also quite disappointed that we weren't the ones to pick it up. I was really looking forward to working on the series, and the only reason I hadn't started on it before was the lack of public raws available for the series whenever I had looked. Though apparently my main raw provider ER just had tanks laying around and never seemed to remember when I talked to him about the series. :t

Omaneki Are! - This is a one-shot by the In Bura! mangaka that was included in volume 2 of In Bura, that we will be doing. What it's about, I have no idea, as Demo hasn't told me anything about it.

Soukai no Eve, Who Killed Cock Robin? - I'm going to be looking into picking these two series back up during my offseason (once we're able to do more), as there has been no progression on these series by Death Toll/Kiss Scans.

P.S. The Legend of Korra OST is absolutely amazing I can't stop listening to it oh god
