It's that time of year again, we have reached our group's second anniversary. See the post below this one for the releases. More tl;dr on this post after the jump.
The group's anniversary was actually two days ago, on the 9th. But I was working and wasn't able to make a post then. I actually completely forgot about the group anniversary until last weekend, when it was far too late to set up any sort of releases for the date.
In two years now, we've amassed 344 releases, a number which will continue to grow, and a number which I'm very proud of. We continue to be a really small group, whose staff can be counted with your fingers, but we persist to continue bringing great manga to everyone. It feels pretty weird sometimes to think that RZK's been around for 2 years.
We're definitely not the most reliable group because of our size, and I'm fully aware of that fact. That's mostly because I find something I want to do despite already being packed full of stuff to do. Doesn't help that I have a few other people I work with who are the same way, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I enjoy what I'm doing, and I enjoy doing it with the people in the group.
My first thanks is going to go to the many readers who continue to support us, and to some specific few of our readers, who have helped us keep up with our monthly raw cost most of the time, and been able to buy multiple tanks for scanlation. I'd like to thank two readers in particular, they'll know who they are, a Canadian and Finnish who have made some very big contributions to us that helped immensely.
Most of this past year however, would not have been possible without one person. In May of last year, Demo joined us, after the departure of unc15. Since he joined, he has worked on nearly 100 chapters of manga for us, doing work on; Amagoi, Billionaire Girl, Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge, Highschool DxD, Ikebukuro Hatsu Zensekai Yuki!, In Bura!, Itoshi no Karin, iShoujo, Juukinzoku Kanojo, Kigurumi, Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou, Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to 2, Mayo Chiki!, Nozomi x Kimio, Oniichan dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne, Saikin Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okashii n da ga, Seven Sisters, Sexual Hunter Riot, Sora no Otoshimono, Tonari no Kashiwagi-san, Yumekui Merry, and Yumekuri.
I'd also like to extend some very big thanks to two editors who started working with us in the past year as well, Zack and Takuo. Between the two of them they have worked on dozens of chapters of manga for us, while also being a part of other groups. Without them, releases for Mayo Chiki, Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge, Itoshi no Karin, Nozomi x Kimio, Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou, and Highschool DxD would have been considerably slower due to my time restrictions.
A continued thanks to Sasuke, or ER as well, for doing all the scanning he does for us, and just being a cool guy. Over half the series we have worked on through this group have been scanned by him at some point or another, scanning several chapters for us every single month.
Here's to another year of Renzokusei scanlation.
I appreciate everyone's hard work. :)
